“Our country communities revolve around their local sports clubs, who have lost so much as a result of these floods,” Community Sport Minister Ros Spence said.
“We’ll help them kickstart the recovery as quickly as possible to get local teams back out on the field.”
Clubs can apply for the grants by visiting sport.vic.gov.au/grants-and-funding/our-grants/Community-Sport-Emergency-Flood-Assistance-Program.

HORSE RACING: Reggae Roc and The Talking Toff are set to fly the flag for Echuca gallopers during today’s Bendigo Cup meeting.
The two horses accepted for the $50,000 Big Al’s Water Benchmark 70 Handicap (1600m), one of the major races on the Bendigo Cup undercard.
Reggae Roc, trained by Rhys Archard, is coming off a solid last-start second at Ballarat in Benchmark 64 grade over 1600m on October 9.
