KYABRAM Netball Association is eagerly anticipating a return to its home courts at the Northern Oval.
In recent times the club has been playing at the Kyabram Sports and Entertainment Centre due to extensive redevelopment of the oval.
It will celebrate their return with a Netfit session run by Sarah Wall. Netfit is a high-energy, 45 minute netball gym class, which combines netball movements with strength and power exercises to music.
The club will also be holding grading nights on March 15 and 22 at the Kyabram Sports and Entertainment Centre.
Committee member Alicia Cunningham encouraged girls of any skill level to give the sport a go.
“It’s a fun way to stay active and make some friends,” she said.
“Netball is inclusive and combines learning of skills with fun and fitness.”
There will be three match times each Wednesday and training will be before games.
Under 9s and under 11s game at 5pm - training at 4.15pm
Under 11s and some under 13s games at 6pm - training at 5.00pm
Under 13s and all under 15s at 7pm - training at 6.00pm
A draw will be completed for the season and each team will know their playing times for the competition
The Netfit session will be held on March 29 at the Northern Oval netball courts. Text your name and age to 0438 356 977 to register.
