Athletes keeping up lightening pace

by
November 23, 2017

Cooper Grinter beat three of his personal bests.

Caleb Greenshields beat three of his personal bests.

DUE to the lightning last Wednesday night we unfortunately had to cancel for safety reasons. However, there is a lot happening at Little Athletics in the coming weeks.

On November 29 we’re having a bring a friend night, where all registered athletes can invite a friend to come along and join in on the night’s program.

December 6 is our pentathlon/multi-event night.

December 20 we are having our first nitro event, where registered athletes and family members aged five and above form teams.

A combination of kids and adults will compete in a relay of events.

There will be prizes for the best named team and best dressed team.

If this is a successful night we will be looking at holding another nitro event in the new year, with the possibility of making it an open invite to the public.

Congratulations to two of our U6 boys, Caleb Greenshields and Cooper Grinter, on breaking three personal bests in one night for 70m, 100m and discus.
