The Lancaster car boot sale and fun day provided fun for all.

IT WAS bargains galore at Lancaster Primary School’s fun day and car boot sale fundraiser on November 19.

More than $2000 was raised for the school, which came from site bookings as well as sales of food and drinks throughout the day.

Keen-eyed parents kept an eye out for any treasures while the kids had the chance to show off their acrobatics on the jumping castle and take their chances on a lucky dip.

The highlight of the day was the pet parade, which gave owners the chance to show off their furry, feathered or scaly companions.

Lancaster Primary School principal Trish Perry said the pet parade had a range of animals exhibited.

“We had 10 entrants, which included a goat, a lamb, two lizards and a chicken,” she said.

“There were 57 local businesses and families who donated toward the day and three of those donated goods or services which were valued at $100 or more.”

The SES, CFA and ambulance also went along to show families what they do and give some lucky children a chance to hop in the vehicles.
