The Lake Mulwala Rod Run will be held from November 4 to 6, promising attendees a chance to see some of the best hot rods in Australia.
It will be the eighth year the event has taken place in Yarrawonga, with it being previously held in Bright for more than two decades.
“There are going to be some amazing rods for everyone to see, and there will other activities and entertainment to make sure everyone has a great time,” Northern Suburbs Street Rods member Wayne Sartori said.
“We’re going to have live music, a sausage sizzle — and the rods of course.”
This year, the Lake Mulwala Rod Run will be accompanied by a farmers’ market on the foreshore, with goods and treats available.
Wayne said “we’re really thankful” Moira Shire Council had decided to hold a farmers’ market on the same weekend as the rod run.
“It means there is going to be so much more to do for those visiting.”
A gold coin on entry will be required for the rod run, with the money going to the cost of holding the event.
“We really hope people come down and get involved because the atmosphere is always amazing,” Wayne said.
“Sadly, there aren’t many events like these today, so we encourage people to make the most of it.”
