ONLY 30 tickets remain for the Kyabram Men’s Longest Lunch.
With a guest appearance by Tigers legend Matthew ‘Richo’ Richardson and former Fremantle coach Chris Connolly being MC, time is running out to book your spot.
Longest Lunch committee member Nick Curnow said the event was expected to be larger than previous years.
“We usually have about 110 people attend but this year we’ve already had 120 tickets reserved,” he said.
“I think Richo might have something to do with that, he’s a major drawcard and so is Connolly.”
The committee is also planning on having Dr Rob Brun to speak about health issues including melanoma — the third most common cancer in Australia.
“Usually the focus is on prostate but the event is all about men’s health so we’re hoping Dr Brun will be able to come along and give a talk about broader health issues,” Mr Curnow said.
There’s also a silent auction and raffles, with the proceeds donated to Kyabram Men’s Health.
The Longest Lunch will be held at the Kyabram Club from 12pm-4pm on March 2.
Tickets are available from the Kyabram Club or Walker Real Estate for $125, which includes a two-course meal, beer and wine.
