KYABRAM P-12 students said no to bullying for National Day of Action Against Bullying (NDA) on March 16.
Students are being encouraged to publish their anti-bullying messages however they like — and there are some great prizes up for grabs.
“While most schools take part, they can host any program they like — we decided to run a competition where students create posters and videos,” P-12 chaplain Liz Spicer said. “And we’ve doing it with all of the year levels until the end of the term.”
Liz said the event was about the kids realising they could influence the change against bullying.
“It’s about getting the students involved and they get some fantastic prizes which we’re able to supply because of chaplaincy and locals in the community,” she said.
