THE ANNUAL combined Easter church service was held on Good Friday at the Memorial Gardens.
“It went really well, there were lots of people there and a lot of hot-cross-bun eating as well,” Kyabram P-12 chaplain Liz Spicer said.
“We had a passion play, which was a visual representation of what happened around Easter and why we celebrate it.
“It’s a really unique thing Kyabram does, no one is trying to outdo each other and everyone can come together, be equal and talk about the spiritual meaning of Easter.
“Easter really goes beyond the eggs and the hot cross buns.”
