The Save the Children fashion parade last week was a huge hit, with more than $2000 raised on the day.

A STRONG crowd of over 100 saw local ladies strutting their stuff on the catwalk last Thursday in support of the Save the Children Australia foundation.

The fashion parade held by the Kyabram Branch at the Uniting Church Hall exhibited pieces from local shops New Image and All About Shoes.

Entry was $10, with all proceeds heading towards making the world a better place for children.

“At Save the Children Australia we aim to ensure every child has access to things like education and childcare,” Alice Savill from Save the Children said.

“We work with children and families who may be experiencing barriers or families who are potentially at risk of experiencing those barriers.

“People can be confident the money raised through the Kyabram branch will be going back towards local initiatives to help out local kids, and all money will be benefiting Kyabram children.”

Over $2,000 was raised from the day, and the Kyabram Branch said they were thrilled with how the event went.
