A RUSHWORTH resident was woken to find their car window smashed.

A Parker St resident raised the alarm after they heard glass smash at about 3am on May 25.

A neighbour, who is vision impaired, told police he heard the smash, walked out of his unit and saw “two young fellas that took off in a Commodore”.

The car, a 2003 Subaru Liberty, had one window smashed with the estimated repair bill being $300.

■A 36-YEAR-old man has had his licence suspended and been ordered to appear in Echuca Magistrates’ Court after he was driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.084.

Police intercepted the driver on May 18 driving along Racecourse Rd.

Police pulled the 40-year-old male over on Rogers St, Kyabram in the early hours of Thursday, May 17.

He has been ordered to appear in Echuca Magistrates’ Court.

Police pulled the driver over on Graham Rd on May 14.

■POLICE are urging drivers to remember to lock their car doors after a number of burglaries around town.

Officers said residents are making themselves easy targets for opportunistic theives who are after cash and other small personal belongings.
