A fourth court was quickly set up to avoid double banked play. The second game cannot start until the first group has run the number two hoop.
The second group of players uses a set of different coloured balls to avoid any confusion with the first group.
Scores were very close throughout the evening, with most games ending after the 8th hoop, not the 13th as the previous week.
One game was highly contested and the teams only managed to complete 4 hoops, both scoring 2 hoops apiece.
Overall the scores were lower than the previous week with terrific improvement from the newer players.
Winner on the night was Sue Agosta, 14 points, followed closely in second place, by Yvonne O'Donnell, Dawn Smith, Jane Cox, Cameron Kelly and Chris Puetz, all with 13 points.
A light supper ended a great night of good company, lots of laughter and terrific sportsmanship.
It is not too late to join on Thursday nights as each week people are paired with different partners. New players will have a more experienced player or club member to help them through their games.
New players are also welcome to join us on Monday mornings from 9am, when the club members have their practice sessions.
