Cameron Price, 17, took home the award for creative and technical achievement in a junior production for his lighting and sound work on Shrek Jr and Sam Clydesdale, 14, picked up a judges award for his performance as Lord Farqaad in the same show.
Indi Gilmore, Harper Raverty and Patrick McDonald were also nominated for performances during the year.
Dillmac teacher Liz Dillon said she was extremely proud of all her students’ performances during the year and was happy to see them recognised.
“Our Shrek Jr production was very well received in the local community and more than 50 kids from Kyabram, Merrigum, Girgarre, Tongala, Echuca and Moama were placed into roles after auditioning with about 70 kids,” she said.
“Our winners were very grateful and were all very excited to be recognised for their hard work.
“Hours of work goes into productions such as Shrek and it takes about seven months from start to finish.
“Millie Dillon-McKenzie, Chris McDonald, Andrew Moore, Alisha Van der Munnick and myself volunteered a lot of time for this show and they were joined by a large group of parents and friends to assist with costumes, make-up and backstage.”
