About 30 members of the Elders Association gathered at the Coach House to reminisce about ‘old times’ on Wednesday.
The association is made up of ex-employees from companies associated with Elders Rural.
Members travelled from Wagga, Albury, Bendigo, Melbourne, Geelong, Corowa, Hay, Horsham, Echuca and locally for the luncheon.
‘‘The association has about 230 members and these gatherings are held in each capital city in Australia. We have two in Melbourne each year but we try to have at least one in Deniliquin,’’ organiser Tony Smith said.
‘‘It’s a great gathering for all concerned, as many are stationed all over the Riverina. Some people have seen each other in 15 years.’’
