Father killed in bike accident

By Riverine Herald

POLICE are investigating the death of a man killed in a motorbike accident at a Bunnaloo property on Sunday.

Murray River Police District Inspector Paul Huggett said the 39-year-old father-of-three was found by his partner unconscious under a motorbike on a private property on Nolan Rd about 7pm.

‘‘He had been working and hadn’t returned home so his partner went to look for him,’’ he said.

Despite resuscitation attempts, the man, who lived on the property, died at the scene.

Officers from Murray River Police District attended and started inquiries.

‘‘Police will prepare a brief of evidence for the coroner,’’ Insp. Huggett said.

‘‘There was nothing suspicious about the death.’’

Due to the incident occurring during the course of work, Safework NSW was notified of the incident.
