Santa is returning to the Town Hall

By Kyabram Free Press

DON’T get too excited, but Santa will leave his elves behind and be back in Kyabram at the Town Hall this year. Since Santa’s Cave started six years ago it has been a big hit in the town, with children from all around the district getting to meet the big man himself.

Santa will be in his cave and available for photos every day from Thursday, December 13 to Wednesday, December 19 from 11am-4pm.

On Thursday, December 20 and Friday, December 21, Santa will be available from 11am-8pm.

‘‘The kids love getting to meet Santa and it is always such great fun,’’ Vanessa Cross from the organising committee said.

‘‘On those two final nights we will be open until 8pm so if they are out and about looking at lights they can drop in.

‘‘Once again Scott Collins has offered so much help with the event; he’s been able to store a lot of things away for us and make sure the cave looks its best.

‘‘This year the Lions Club has also jumped on board to help us set up.’’

While there will be no photographer this year, everyone is more than welcome to grab a ‘selfie’ with Santa or their own family photos.

There will be plenty of activities and trading tables going on to keep the children entertained.

Admission will be $2 per person, and entry will be via Bradley St at the rear of the Town Hall.

The hard-working organising committee has consisted of Vanessa Cross, Denise Gemmill, Wendy Addessi and Marg Smerdon.

Please phone the hall on 5852 15346 for any further information.
