Dance to classics and help local pool

THE Kyvalley hall will be rocking with old classics when acoustic music duo Shane and the Wong Brother come to town.

Shane Muir and Ken Wong will perform a range of music from the 1960s, 70s and 80s right through to modern classics as a fundraiser for the Kyvalley Pool.

Singing along is encouraged and people are welcome to hit the dance floor.

Since forming 18 months ago, the duo have proved popular with local audiences, playing over 80 gigs including a support for Australian music icon Ross Wilson.

The Kyvalley Community Park and Pool is situated in a picturesque bush park, which is wholly managed by volunteers from the local community. It provides an invaluable social focal point for the district population, featuring modern playground equipment, electric barbecue area and oval.

Organisers are seeking to raise funds for the ongoing maintenance of the pool.

Itâ€™s on March 22 at 7.30pm and individual or table bookings are now available. BYO drinks.
