The testing is for any registered teacher and for all non-teaching staff who work at a school site including administration staff, cleaners, regular contractors and kindergarten staff.
It covers primary and secondary schools across the public, Catholic and independent sectors.
NCN Health chief executive Jacque Phillips said the free voluntary testing was for school staff not showing symptoms.
“This round of testing is for school staff who have no symptoms of COVID-19,” she said.
“Staff or community members who feel unwell with symptoms of COVID-19 are advised to contact their GP or their local hospital.
“The Acute Respiratory Clinic at GV Health, Graham St, Shepparton, is also open daily from 10am to 5.15 pm for people who are unwell.”
Swabbing stations have been set up Cobram District Health, as well as at NCN campuses in Nathalia and Numurkah.
Childcare workers are not included unless they work on a school site.
The move comes after the Victorian Health Department announced the second stage of its testing blitz last week.
Ms Phillips encouraged anyone with questions about the swabbing stations to contact her on 5862 0555.
