POLICE are appealing for information into the theft of a car and trailer from Tongala.

Detective Senior Constable Troy Wickham of Campaspe Criminal Investigation Unit said a 2002 green Ford Fairlane sedan, registration RZE342, was stolen from a Kerr Rd residence about 6.20am today.
‘‘The victim awoke to hear the sound of his vehicle starting and by the time he got out, he saw it heading north along Kerr Rd,’’ Snr Constable Wickham said.
A trailer was also stolen from outside Tongala Hotel in Mangan St between Friday night and yesterday morning.
The faded white 6x4 trailer has a coolroom on it and features Tongala Hotel Motel and For Hire stickers.
