Kyabram police Constable Jarryd Tinning said police stopped the man, 40, about 6pm on Edith St, Kyabram.
‘‘It was a random intercept, we did get news he was driving around again and we were looking for him and managed to find him,’’ Const Tinning said.
Const Tinning said the man recorded a blood alcohol reading of .158 and was charged on summons.
The same man, who was a Kyabram SES unit volunteer, had been arrested in High St, Shepparton just after 2am on the same day.
It was reported to police that the man had been travelling in the area in an SES vehicle, stopping cars and pulling them over.
Shepparton police said the man registered a blood alcohol reading of .127, and was interviewed and released at the time.
A VICSES spokesperson said on Sunday afternoon the man was immediately suspended from all VICSES activities upon contact from police, pending further investigations.
‘‘These alleged activities are completely unacceptable,’’ the spokesperson said.
Anyone who witnessed the SES vehicle in Shepparton is urged to phone police on 5820 5777.
