On Australia Day our roving reporter ran into Dusty and owner Shane Anderson on Nagambie’s main street. After a few questions, we unravelled a story about his three goats back home.

What is Dusty?
He’s a blue heeler through and through. We came down to see what the go was for Australia Day but they had a ‘no dogs’ sign.
Any other pets back home?
I’ve got a goat called Shithead.
How’d he get that name?
He used to stick his head between you legs from behind, hook his horns around and pull you back. Even at the vet’s he’s on paper as Shithead.
How did you get a goat?
We’re on a few acres out at Kirwans Bridge and he was a rescue. Well, we didn’t know much about goats at first but we learned they are social animals so we got two more, Garry and Barry. I think Shithead was acting out so much because he had no-one.
What type of goats?
Not sure. They are tiny, so a sort of miniature I’m sure.
