Show time for woodworkers

The GV Woodworkers 30th annual Woodworking Show will be held on October 1 and 2 at the Shepparton Showgrounds. Pictured are Len Taylor and Emily Slaughter from GV Woodworkers. Mr Taylor has been a club member for 31 years and was present for the first ever show. He’s seen the Shepparton event grow into the biggest of its kind in regional Victoria. This year there is a new Len Taylor Excellence Award for members who excel in mentorship and craftmanship. The show will be full of demonstrations, resin pouring (the latest trend), award-winning pieces, whittling and cheap timber. Kids under 16 enter free. Photo by Daneka Hill
