RDA Seymour provides people of all abilities the opportunity to participate in horse riding programs catering to their specific needs.
The RDA Kings Park facility has received $250,000 for upgrades.
This includes the installation of a roof over the outdoor arena to improve scheduling and participation opportunities.
An accessible toilet will also be installed at the club rooms for participants while using the facility. There is currently no toilet at this facility, with people having to walk a significant distance across roads to access public toilets.

The project has received $167,000 from Sport and Recreation Victoria’s Community Facilities Stream and $83,000 from Mitchell Shire Council.
In news that will please tennis players, the Seymour Tennis Complex has received $226,000 to deliver competition standard LED lighting systems for four courts that are currently unlit.
The project will mean all eight courts at the site are lit and improve participation and scheduling opportunities for night tennis - $30,000 has been funded through Sport and Recreation Victoria’s Planning Stream and $40,000 from Mitchell Shire Council.
Mitchell Shire Council Mayor Bill Chisholm was delighted to see the projects receive funding.
“We’re a growing shire and we’re already seeing our facilities being used more than they ever have,” he said.
“This funding from the Victorian Government is very important and we’re pleased to have their support to provide for our communities.”
