Emergency services were called to Channel Rd at about 7.50pm on May 18 after reports of a multi-vehicle crash.
Shepparton police said a woman in her 30s, from Shepparton, was driving a black Holden Cruz west along Channel Rd when her vehicle collided with a stationary Nissan Micra and Ford Ranger, which were parked at the side of the road.
Fire Rescue Victoria made the scene safe while police performed traffic control.
Firefighters deemed the incident under control at 7.57pm and handed it over to Victoria Police.
Police said the Nissan Micra sustained significant damage and needed to be towed from the scene.
Advanced Life Support and Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance paramedics assessed and treated two people.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said a woman in her 70s was taken by road ambulance from the scene to Goulburn Valley Health in a stable condition for observation.
Shepparton police said the hospitalised woman was the owner of one of the parked cars, and had fainted when she arrived at the scene.
Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
