Set to takeover Kings Park on October 4 and 5, Seymour Agricultural and Pastoral Society president Jason Ronald and secretary Pam Beerens were pleased with how the event was shaping up.
Friday night will include bands Me and Me Mates, The Flaxon Twins and a guest DJ alongside carnival rides, games, competitions, showbags, fairy floss, donuts and other food stalls.
The highlight of the evening will be the spectacular fireworks display.
On Saturday, the horses, beef and dairy cattle, alpacas, poultry and dogs will be judged and there will be entertainment around the grounds.
There will be yard dog trials, chainsaw sculpting, camel rides, an animal nursery, a Wildlife of Australia display, sheep display, sheep shearing and championship wood chopping.
Competitions in the pavilions will include photography, art, Lego, wool, baking, preserves, needlework and craft, produce, plants and flowers.
Special competitions will also take place for the tiny tots and the rural and junior ambassador.
Schedules are available at businesses in Seymour and district and at seymouragshow.org.au
The show is on from 4pm to 9pm on October 4 and from 9am to 4pm on October 5.
