Riding BP Converte (Connie) in her first show after a short break, the pair jumped well throughout the meet and although they didn't wind up in the placings, never touched a rail.
Glass's second ride, BV Nobuck Boris, finished fourth from 50 competitors in the 105 and was also jumping clear in his 110 and 115 classes. Although having two rails down in the 120, he showed himself to be quite capable of the height.
Later last month Glass took BP Converte to task once more, this time in the Tatura Classic, where they placed third in Junior 110.
BV Nobuck Boris placed second in the 115, a significant feat in what was a large field of experienced riders. Success also followed the trio at the Benalla Pony Cub showjumping day, with both horses competing in the top grade.
BP Converte won the first event and BV Nobuck Boris won the second, and the success continued throughout the day, with the horses winning third and first in the main event, respectively.
BV Nobuck Boris also won overall champion.
Last weekend saw Glass pick up the saddle for nationals training in Elcho Park before heading out of town to compete in the Geelong Classic to compete in the speed class on Saturday night.
Glass and BP Converte managed to set a fast time, including jumping the 130 and joker fence, only to be beaten to the win by the day's last rider.
Glass is currently visiting businesses around town seeking sponsorship to help with costs for the upcoming nationals competition and has encouraged anyone who might be interested to get in touch.Team Glass caps and supporter polos tops are also for sale, at $14 and $45 a pop.
