A really strong start by Tocumwal everyone saw a nice lead into the first break. Some spot on shooting and an extremely hard-working mid court enabled the lead to stand until the end. A physical full court win.

Demons defeated Tocumwal 43-22.
The demons came out strong and didn’t look back until the final whistle was blown.
With accurate and strong passes from mid court Storm Mulham, Kate Marshall and Emily Ford.
Shooters Katelyn Marshall, Emily Ford and Tanya Rorato (Colony Inn) stood their ground in a physical goal circle, creating great ring rotation, offensive rebounds and long bomb goals.
Defense worked tirelessly for the whole game, making it difficult for Toc to convert.
Meagan Mauger putting incredible pressure on the shooters, allowing Brooke Mitchell (BOC Billabong Produce) to pick up any lose balls and pick up multiple intercepts.
Miley Conn (Cotton Seed Distributors Award) and Chelsea Winn played a fantastic half game each in WD.
With both players building pressure around the goal circle and great movement down court enabling turnovers to convert into goals.
Our team should be very proud of our achievements so far into the season. We also wish those of our players out with injuries all the best with their recoveries.
Congratulations to Abby O’Connell, Jess Bennett and Alana Sutton on making their B- grade debut for Tocumwal.

It was the best game of the year by far for Jerilderie’s C-grade team.
Toc came out ready to play, but the Dees settled well and played a great team game to get the win.

Tocumwal proved a very tough opponent for Jerilderie’s C-res side.
It took a great last quarter for the Dees to get the result they wanted.
Eden Hercus (Lawton ag BOC) again lead from the front in GS and with Tiff Sutton feeding the ball into the ring set the team up.
Maddie Logan (Colony Inn) played her best game for the year.

Under-15s: Tocumwal 26 def by Jerilderie 35.
It was a tough game in the under-15s. Toc’s girls were down by 18 and made a 10 goal turn around throughout the rest of the game.
The constant channelling and transitions down the whole court showed a consistent team effort.
Jerilderie’s Ruby Nesssen (Magic Scissors) got the young Dees off to a great start on Saturday feeding the ball accurately to see the Dees score 20 goals in the first quarter.
Shikaya Hall (Mungos Repairs) is getting better each week in her defensive work.
Jess Wilkinson played a few different positions well to score herself the Colony award.
Some great passages of play during the four quarters for a good win in the wet.
Under-13s: Tocumwal 20 def Jeriliderie 9.
It was a great team effort from Toc’s under-13s, finishing with a convincing win against Jerilderie.
Despite the loss, the Dees are continuing to improve each week and had a great second half, managing to outscore their opponents.
Jerilderie’s Chelsie Hibbert (Colony Inn award) again continues to thrive in her new role of GS.
Ruby Neessen and Mia Kernaghan also gave everything to b in the best. Stella Williams also played a great game in c in the wet conditions.
