In the second last round before the Christmas break Kyabram Lawn Tennis Club was again able to win in all five grades.

This is the third time in seven rounds that the club has been able to achieve this feat.
GM2 Kyabram Bombers 7-71 d Mooroopna Cats 4-43
In GM2 the Bombers were looking to solidify their place towards the top of the ladder against a new team in the division the Mooroopna Cats.
Sheree Starling continued her strong form this season winning all three of her sets only conceding four games for the day.
Starling started her day with a dominant 8-1 victory partnering with daughter Tayla Starling.
Sheree then followed this up with a strong 6-3 singles victory showing why she is a dominant force in the competition.
Starling then wrapped up her perfect day with her best result a resounding 8-0 victory with son Kade Starling to wrap up a perfect family affair for the day.
Club coach David Starling also showed that he is building into the season nicely with a perfect day of his own.
Starling won his two doubles match-ups 8-5 and 8-2 with Xavier Dodos and Kade Starling, respectively.
Starling then rounded out the perfect day with a dominant number 1 mixed victory with daughter Tayla 8-1.
Tayla Starling was also perfect on the day combining with Nick Dodos for an 8-5 victory.
The Bombers in the end had too much depth for the Cats as they ran out 28-game victors to go to second on the ladder.
The Bombers will round out their pre-Christmas slate of games with a match-up against the KPOS Colonels.
GM3 Kyabram Redbacks 6-64 d Euroa Unicorns 3-46
The Redbacks in GM3 were riding a five-game winning streak when they made the long road trip to Euroa to take on a tough Unicorns outfit.
Despite injuries it was the team’s men that stepped-up on the day winning all of the men’s doubles sets.
Sam McConnell was the standout on the day winning all of his sets. McConnell combined with Jamie Cochrane for an 8-4 victory then Darren Woodcock for an 8-3 victory.
McConnell wrapped up his perfect day with the best result of the day combining with Shylee Donaldson for an 8-1 victory.
Jamie Cochrane was the other player that was perfect on the day combining with Darren Woodcock for an 8-4 victory and then finishing off the day with an 8-5 victory with Marg Haw.
In the ladies’ doubles for the first time all season the girls were given some trouble only being able to win one of the three sets.
It was Marg Haw and Shylee Donaldson who combined for an 8-5 victory.
In what was tight tussle all day the Redbacks who were up by 12 going into the final round of matches were able to slowly extend their lead out to secure an 18-game victory.
GM3 Kyabram Bombers 10-76 d KPOS Captains 0-20
The Bombers returned home for the first time in three weeks being the only undefeated team left in the division ready to take on Kialla Park.
Evan Cooknell was seriously impressive on the day securing two victories to love.
Cooknell started the day with a dominant 6-0 victory in the number one singles and followed this up with a strong 8-4 victory with Greg Tarrant.
Cooknell then finished his day as it started with a mesmerising 8-0 victory with Helen Jackson in the mixed doubles.
In what was a dominant day for the Bombers they went through the entire day without dropping a set.
Other strong results were an 8-0 doubles victory for Taylor Sutton and Abby Prycroft, Taylor Sutton then combined with Helen Hackson for an 8-1 victory.
Brother Zane Sutton then showed that he is going from strength to strength with an 8-1 victory with Greg Tarrant and also had a strong 6-2 victory in his first singles match of the season.
Greg Tarrant and Abby Prycroft combined for the final 8-1 victory for the day.
In the end the Bombers were too strong, winning by 56 games with a match-up against the Euroa Dead Certs to round out their matches for 2025.
GM4 Open Kyabram Bombers 6-63 d Cobram Crickets 3-39
The Bombers returned to their home courts following a couple of tough losses looking to keep their spot in the top four secure.
Scott Hausler showed his class again combining with Cameron Heard for an 8-0 victory to set the tone early for the team.
Hausler then combined with team captain Michael Argaet for an 8-3 victory.
Hausler then rounded out his perfect day with a hard-fought 8-5 victory with son Max Hausler.
The secret weapon for the Bombers though was Tom Curnow.
Curnow only conceded one game in his two sets combining with Amy Harrison for an 8-0 victory and Max Hausler for an 8-1 victory which really broke the game open for the Bombers.
The final set victory for the day was the combination of Cameron Heard and Michael Argaet who secured an 8-6 victory.
In the end the Bombers were too strong with a 24-game win which secured the Bombers third spot on the ladder with a match-up against the Tatura Rommels this weekend.
GM4 Open Kyabram Redbacks 6-58 d Central Park 3-43
The Redbacks were looking to bounce back from two heavy defeats in the past two weeks where they had only won one set.
However, the Redbacks meant business at the weekend and were led from the front by Luke Motton.
Motton only conceded four games for the day combining with Rachael Costello and Leah Dennis for a pair of 8-2 victories.
However, he saved his best set for last combining with Chloe Berner for a resounding 8-0 victory.
Dennis also had a perfect day combining with Hugh Cunningham for an 8-4 victory and Rachael Costello for an 8-5 victory.
The final win for the day went to Hugh Cunningham and Chloe Berner who secured a tough 8-6 victory.
In what was a grind all day it was the Redbacks who were able to come out on top to secure their third victory for the season.
The win keeps the Redbacks’ finals hopes alive with a match-up against a strong Tatura Twisters team to come.
