Mark this on your Christmas calendar

By Morgan Dyer

A group of elves are working hard to create a magical Christmas Spectacular in Tatura.

The Christmas street festival will be held on Friday, November 29 and is set to spread Christmas cheer across the region.

Tatura's Hogan St will come to life as City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Seema Abdullah kicks off the region's festive season by switching on the lights of Tatura's enormous Christmas tree.

The night will be filled entertainment, Christmas decorations, festive food and gift stalls and a visit from the jolly man in red himself.

People looking to start or complete their Christmas shopping will be in luck as many Tatura businesses will stay open late for people to snag the perfect gift for their loved ones.

The Christmas Spectacular will kick off at 6pm in Hogan St, Tatura on Friday, November 29.
