James Ibbotson won the first monthly medal of the year with a round of 82-17-65 on a countback from two others.
Bruce Gross won A-grade with 75-10-65, Peter Baird was runner-up with 80-13-67, while John Steen was runner-up in B-grade with 85-20-65.
Bryan Miller won nearest to pin on the third (Lewis Homes sponsor), Drew Curtis won on the sixth (Tatura Post Office), Jody Webber won NTP (Tatura Engineering) and the jackpot on the ninth and Garry Reese won on the 14th which is sponsored by A-1 Freight.
Ball winners: Ray Coleman 67, Joe Tolomeo 68, Jody Webber and Geoff Connally, Lou Villani, Alan Kellock, Peter Caldow, Glenn Newton, Sergio Onciarich 37, Col Saunders, Les Walsh and Tim Dickinson 70 on countback.
Sheryl Curran won the women’s competition with 94-20-74, Robyn Downs was runner-up with 91-15-76 and Phyl Fiddes won a consolation ball for her 78.
Sheryl Curran also won NTPs on the third and 14th holes, while Robyn Downs won on the sixth.
Summer pennant: Hill Top has entered two teams in the summer pennant competition, which began on Sunday, showing a welcome return of enthusiasm for the contest the club has been successful in over the years.
Red team had a 3.5 to 1.5 win against Merrigum at Nagambie with wins to Ty Guiney/Travis Worm 5-4, Bryan Miller/Jody Webber 3-2 and Ryan Lindsay/Dale McNair 5-4.
Hamish Roberts/Brad Ciavarella squared their match, but Lindsay and Tim Nicholson went down 3-1.
Meanwhile at Mooroopna, the Blue team went down 3-2 to Kialla.
Scott Perry/James Peck won 4-3, but Col Barlow/Dylan Burls squared along with Daniel Maher/Dan Miller.
And Jake Channels/Jono Kerrins lost 2-1 and Michael Mulcahy/Glenn Newton had a nightmare.
Midweek: Despite wiping out the first hole, Rob Coleman won the New Year's Eve stableford competition with 43 points off a 35 handicap.
Joe De Ieso was runner-up with 40 points and consolation balls went to James Ibbotson 39, Ray Coleman 38 and Jeffrey Baker 37.
De Ieso also won NTP and Bruce Gross won a couple of balls for his eagle on the 10th hole.
There was a medley stableford event on New Year’s Day which was won by Peter Caldow with 40 points.
Fred Andrews was runner-up with 37 points on a countback from Sheryl Curran, while line-balls went to Michael Suster 36, Joan Hill 35, Sharon Jeffers, Geoff Lipshut and Robyn Downs 34.
NTP trophies went to Sharon Jeffers on the third hole, Jan Coe on the sixth, Mike Jeffers on the ninth and Robyn Downs on the 14th.
Suster had 41 points off an 18 handicap on Thursday to win the competition from De Ieso who had 40, runner-up on a countback.
Peter Caldow won NTP and balls down-the-line went to Domenic Cricelli 40, Michael Suster 39, Drew Curtis and John Steen 38.
Mat Langley twilight: In a field of 65, Bryan Miller was the winner on Thursday with a round of 36-6-30 and Geoff Coolahan was runner-up with 41-10-31, while Jan Coe won NTP on the ninth.
