Williams crossed the finish line first in this year's Campaspe District Cross Country 11 Girls event to snare the prized blue ribbon on Friday, May 21.
Joining Williams on the podium at Echuca Primary School was fellow Kyabram P-12 students Aalim Besim and Brooke O'Shanassy, who finished second and third respectively in the 12/13 Boys and Girls categories.
Tongala's Emily Wilkinson also snagged a second place in the 9/10 Girls, while Ava Tinning (fourth) just missed out on a placing in the 11 Girls, as did Kyabram's Seb Greely (fourth) who ran in the 9/10 Boys.
In other rankings, Kyabram's Cooper Rodriguez and Copper Hedges came fifth and ninth respectively in the 11 Boys, while Maddison Saunders finished 11th in the 11 Girls.
Layne Warde (11th) and Josh Morrison (10th) also ran strongly for Kyabram in the Girls and Boys 12/13.
For Tongala, Kenzie Johnstone (12/13 Girls), Jack Forde (11 Boys) and Tilly Forde (9/10 Girls) all finished 8th.
The best performers on the day have qualified for the Loddon Mallee Regional Cross Country finals to be held in St Arnaud on Tuesday, June 1.
