Wright leads Tasmania's response v NSW

Fast bowler Chris Tremain (2-16) struck twice early under leaden Sydney clouds, while leg-spinner Tanveer Sangha (1-31) ended a promising Tigers' partnership.

Caleb Jewell and Mac Wright put on 60 for the third wicket before the former was dismissed by Sangha for a hard-fought 36.

Wright remains at the crease on 56 with Jake Doran also unbeaten on 13.

Tremain was on a hat-trick when he had Tim Ward (4) and Eamonn Vines (0) both caught at the wicket as Tasmania found themselves 2-5.

Overnight rain and heavy cloud cover have not helped Tasmania's cause with the bat.

Earlier, NSW added just four to their overnight total before being bowled out for 276.
