Lens's 1-0 win over Nantes to move up to sixth in Ligue 1 has been somewhat overshadowed by reports France superstar Kylian Mbappe is set to leave Paris St-Germain for Real Madrid at the end of the season.

Mbappe said last year he would not renew his contract at PSG when it expired at the end of the 2023-24 campaign, allowing him to move on a free transfer.
French newspaper Le Parisien and broadcaster ESPN reported the 25-year-old striker would announce an agreement with Spain's 14-times European champions next week.
Media reports last September said Mbappe had agreed to forego loyalty bonuses worth up to 100 million euros ($A165 million) to leave PSG as a free agent.
Mbappe was heavily linked with a move to Madrid in 2022 but announced a contract extension with PSG shortly before the transfer window opened.
On the field, David Pereira da Costa scored early in the second half for Lens, who moved level on points with fifth-placed Lille.
Martin Terrier scored again to help Rennes beat Montpellier 2-1 for a fourth successive league win.
After netting twice in a 3-2 win against Lyon in the previous round, the lively forward put Rennes ahead in the third minute when he tapped home after his initial effort hit the post.
