It was the closest result the school has seen at the swimming carnival, with house spirit on full display.
The final house results were Delany (1079 points), Augustine (1061) and Brigidine (1041).
The student age champions were:
Under 10/11: Bridie Harrison (girls); Archie Shepard and Jack Halstead (boys).
Under 12: Olivia Whelan and Tadgh O’Neil.
Under 13: Miley Morris and Antonio De Pasquale.
Under 14: Hannah Messenger and Grace Kilpatrick (girls); Charlie Isaac (boys).
Under 15: Millie Simpson and Taytem Messenger (girls); Myles Camin (boys).
Under 16: Sarah Whelan.
Under 20: Mackenzie Atkins and Tom Bruhn.
Not all points were won in the pool though, with opportunities in other mini games held on the day such as volleyball, soccer, cricket and tug of war.
Teacher Zane Sutton said it was an exciting and fun day all round.
“It was great to see all students representing their house colours by dressing up, swimming or competing in activities for points and getting involved in dances throughout the day,” he said.
Champions: Grace Kilpatrick, Hannah Messenger, Charlie Isaac, Myles Camin, Taytem Messenger and Amelia Simpson.
