Schaper holed out with a chip for an eagle at the second play-off hole to see off American Ryan Gerard and lift the last trophy of the season on Sunday -- just a week after he had won his home Alfred Dunhill Championship by making eagle in another play-off triumph.
Schaper, a rising 24-year-old from Benoni, had begun the day at the Heritage La Reserve Golf Links two shots off the lead, but had an eagle and six birdies in a flawless eight-under 64 to get into the play-off before capping it all with his outrageous chip-in at the second extra hole.

A disbelieving Schaper said: "That's just such an insane way to finish a tournament.
"I could not have asked for anything better. Christmas is going to be good this year, and New Year. It's just unreal.
"I wait five years for the first title and then the following week to get the second is so cool."
American Gerard, who closed with a 66, has the consolation prize of finishing the year in the world's top 50 and securing an invitation to the 2026 Masters.
For Quayle, a 31-year-old two-time winner on the PGA Tour of Australasia, rounds of 68, 71, 69 and a final 68 earned him joint-ninth place on 12 under par, another fine performance that bodes well for his first full season on the European tour.
The man from Port Macquarie, who secured his spot on tour by qualifying through Australasia circuit earlier in the year, also earned a top-10 finish in the Australian PGA three weeks ago and is excited to see how he fares on his new global campaign.
His performance pushed him up to 25th overall in the early stages of the tour's Race to Dubai order of merit, the third-best ranked Australian behind Adam Scott (13th) and Min Woo Lee (17th).
Schaper's remarkable week sees him lead the standings after the tour's opening swing, earning him entry into the lucrative Dubai Desert Classic, along with a $US200,000 ($A302,000) bonus.
