Committee member (operations) Colin Read said the club was proud of its strong local support.
“We are fortunate to have a great variety of wonderful sponsors supporting the club,” he said.
Hill Top hosts regular golf competitions every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, along with midweek social bowls days beginning in May.
These sessions are open to both new and regular bowlers.
“Most of our events include lunch, whether it’s provided by the bistro or a barbecue,” Colin said.
"As a special effort winter social bowls will have a light lunch provided.“
Beyond sport, the club is also a vibrant social hub.
Hill Top features live and free entertainment on selected Sunday afternoons from 1pm to 4pm, as well as in-club entertainers on various Friday and Saturday nights.
The next live act is special guest Rick Gauci on March 22, known for his role in the Everly Brothers and Buddy Holly tribute show.
The club also caters for weddings, receptions and special functions, with a function room that can accommodate up to 140 guests.
A purpose-built garden area on the golf course provides a picturesque setting specifically designed for wedding ceremonies.
“We have a great club here at Hill Top, and we welcome everyone in town,” Colin said.
Hill Top offers a social membership for just $5 per year, giving members discounts on food and drinks.
There is also lots of in-club entertainment like Friday night happy hour, raffles, pokies and Keno — meaning you don’t have to play golf or bowls to enjoy what the club has to offer.
“We pride ourselves on our food, service and prices,” Colin said.
“We have a great chef who is always stepping up the menu, and fantastic staff looking after our customers.”
With a quality golf course and two of the district’s best bowling greens, Hilltop remains a key part of the local sporting and social scene.
“Like all smaller rural hospitality businesses, we rely on the ongoing support of our local community,” Colin said.
“Our calendar is full of entertainment and will continue right through the winter months.”
All local community groups, businesses and members of the public are welcome to get involved or sponsor events.
