Formerly known as Rodney Arts Inc, this community group has been bringing people together through art for around half a century, exploring a wide range of artistic trends along the way.
Currently, the group consists of 13 female members who enjoy everything from card making, photography, and mosaic work to felting, watercolour, silk painting, pottery and much more.
Member Kaye Watson described it as a wonderful group to be part of, with everyone enjoying the chance to showcase their work together in the gallery.
“It looks wonderful with all the different pieces,” Kaye said.
“It’s a mix of everyone’s creativity.”
The exhibition is open Monday to Friday, 9 am to 3 pm, and closes on April 2.
For anyone inspired to join, the group meets every Thursday from 9 am to noon at the Mechanics Hall on Hogan St.
“Come down and see what it’s all about,” Kaye said.
“You can bring your own hobby, learn a new one, or just have a coffee and a chat – everyone is welcome.”
