Meet Morgan Cronyn. Turning 13 this March, Morgan loves chasing butterflies, patrolling the yard, and his absolute favourite is walking around Cusson Park.

And in this edition, I called for pet photos and the Tatura community certainly came through.
It’s clear that everyone loves their pets, and here’s a selection of the images I received.
There were just too many to feature this time, so I might do another round in the next edition.

Merle Border Collie Pippa and Terrier mix Gidget love playing tug of war and fetch. They enjoy going camping and will happily do tricks for treats.
Three-legged Bengal kitten Echo was found dumped on Good Friday last year and has quickly become the star of the show. Her favourite things are partying at 3am, watching daytime TV with her nan, and going for drives in the car.
This is Trigger, aka the meerkat, and Daisy, two Jack Russell ‘terrorists’. Their favourite things are empty toilet rolls, which they tear to shreds, snacks and cuddles.
This is George and Basil, doing their favourite thing — sleeping. British Bulldogs love to sleep.
This is Charli Jean. She is obsessed with her mum, loves to lie in the sun and sleep in.
This is Frankie. He loves to play fetch and is obsessed with food.
This is Georgie. His favourite thing to do is nap in his cat pram with his best friend, Margaret the magpie.
This is Jack, a 7-month-old Clumber Spaniel. He loves everyone, playing with people and other dogs, chewing anything he can get, walks, eating, sleeping — and yes, he snores. He’s not great at fetching yet and is looking for a place to go for a swim.
Peanut’s favourite job is supervising — but he also loves a good run and long-winded chats with the resident magpies.
Introducing Piper, a newly turned one-year-old and very spoilt Border Collie. She loves chasing any ball (especially if it squeaks), splashing in water with her bestie Enzo, digging holes and the occasional snuggle with Mum.
Stella is a 3½-year-old Border Collie who loves to run and swim.
Ziggy is a three-year-old Golden Retriever who LOVES to run and swim.
Earlier this year, Annie lost her beautiful Luna, a British Bulldog x Blue Heeler. Luna was a loving soul and devoted companion, leaving a deep emptiness in Annie’s heart.
Bolt is a sweet, playful boy who loves a good game of tug just as much as curling up for the cosiest cuddles afterward.
Pasha loves his daily drives to get the morning paper, and being a bit of a socialite, he gets lots of pats. He enjoys camping and is usually first in the truck, ready to go.
Rusty loves going on rides.
Nova is a beloved three-year-old Rottweiler, full of energy. When not playing tug of war or swimming in the river, she enjoys relaxing in front of the TV, watching movies with her family.
Simone’s six-year-old Eastern Long Neck turtle Clover greets her with excited splashes every morning when she comes home from work. She loves exploring the house and her outdoor playpen, cuddles and scratches, playing hide and seek, watching TV, and spending time with her buddy Gucci the dog.
Dingo is an old‑soul ginger tabby whose best friend is Heidi, his playful opposite. He enjoys alone time in the sun, cuddles with the kids, and rubbing his face on Dad’s armpits. A true character, Dingo has firmly earned his place in the Fidock family and is deeply cherished.
Trevor is a six-year-old rescue puppy who loves going for walks and meeting the locals, especially as he’s new to Tatura.
Marley is a female GSP who loves cuddles, play, and pointing out birds. She has a kind heart and senses when someone is feeling down, leaning in for pats. Every morning, Nev, a non-verbal man in a wheelchair, visits with treats, and Marley waits excitedly at the gate. Known throughout Tatura, she’s greeted by locals walking past and always keeps a paw on yours.
Bessy is a cow from Harston who faced a tough start after giving birth to a stillborn in early December 2025 and becoming temporarily paralysed. With perseverance, hand feeding, and positive reinforcement, she’s now walking again and fit as a fiddle. Bessy has a motherly heart and is the best aunty to all the new calves.
Charlie is a Dachshund who loves rolling on his back.
Nitro is a cat full of personality.
Tilly, the five-year-old Chihuahua-Jack Russell cross, keeping watch over her new sidekick, seven-month-old Border Collie Molly. The owners are ‘asking for luck’— Molly’s puppy training is apparently quite the adventure.
