Premier Investments on Thursday said it made $831.3 million in revenue in the 52 weeks to July 26, up 1.2 per cent from a year ago.
Sleepwear chain Peter Alexander's 2024/25 sales were a record $548 million, up 7.7 per cent from a year ago, with sales around Mother's Day and Father's Day particularly strong.
"Peter Alexander has cemented itself as a destination for gifting events, with all key shopping events delivering strong growth on the year," Premier said.
Back-to-school brand Smiggle's sales dropped 10.7 per cent to $264.2 million, which Premier said reflected cost of living pressures across global markets.
Premier said its statutory profit was up 31.1 per cent to $338.2 million, when including the divestment of its clothing stores Just Jeans, Jay Jays, Portmans, Dotti and Jacqui E to Myer in January.
Its underlying profit from continuing operations - excluding the apparel brands divestment and costs associated with Peter Alexander's entry into the UK market - was down 14.9 per cent to $220.3 million.
Premier said it would pay a final dividend of 50 cents per share.
Mr Lew, who serves as chairman of Premier and owns about a $1 billion stake in the company, said 2024/25 had been both challenging and exciting.
"Premier's transformation, although still ongoing, ensures that the business is best placed to maximise future opportunities and deliver for shareholders," he said.
Premier had $333.3 million cash in hand as of July 26, and its one-quarter stake in Breville, the small kitchen appliance maker, was worth about $1.17 billion.
For the start of 2025/26, Peter Alexander's sales were up 9.2 per cent in the six weeks from July 27 to September 6, compared to the same period a year ago, while Smiggle's sales were down 4.0 per cent.
Premier blamed that on an isolated shipping line delay that postponed the launch of key new season Smiggle products into Australia last month.
Premier Retail interim CEO John Bryce said Peter Alexander would launch a loyalty program in October and Smiggle would do so early next year.
Peter Alexander will also open four new stores in Australia and New Zealand in the first half, with another three locations expanded into larger formats.
Peter Alexander currently has 124 stores in Australia, 16 in New Zealand and three in the UK, while Smiggle has 296 stores, about half of those are in Australia.
