Vic police officers charged over shooting

The incident occurred on June 23, 2020, in the town of Elphinstone during an intercept on Harmony Way.

The officers allegedly fired shots at a vehicle, causing the driver and one passenger to sustain minor gunshot wounds.

Professional Standards Command detectives laid charges following an internal investigation.

The officers are due to appear in a magistrates court at a later date.
