MULTIPLE emergency services vehicles were called to Hogan Rd, Lancaster last night after a B-double carrying about 50 hay bales burst into flames.

10 CFA units from Kyabram, Moroopna, Undera and Shepparton responded to the blaze at 8pm, which was put under control at 9.15pm.
A CFA spokesperson said the driver turned a corner which caused a fire underneath the vehicle that quickly spread to the hay bales.
The fire also spread to a nearby power pole and tree.
There was minimal damage to the surrounding area, and the EPA was advised due to a diesel spill.
The CFA have put up a 24-hour watch on the area as a precaution.
