In one of the multifunction spaces at Navorina Aged Care, they dined on a delicious morning tea catered by their family members.
Letters of congratulations from dignitaries such as King Charles and Australian politicians were proudly on display, as was the cake decorated with their wedding photo.
The couple’s actual anniversary was last Wednesday, August 20.
