The foundation of the business was built on owner Damian’s good reputation in the community and quality workmanship.
Now, 18 years later, Kyabram Steel and Fabrication is still a thriving business with a high level of customer satisfaction.
“We do anything and everything; general engineering, sheds, a lot of machinery and maintenance, and aluminium and stainless welding,” Damian said.
“The business is based off customer needs, not ourselves.
“It’s their income and they employ us, we work for them.”
Damian said customers are the business, and some have been coming to him for 30 years of servicing needs, following on from his previous agricultural work.
But it’s not just Damian’s work that can take all the credit for Kyabram Steel and Fabrication’s success.
The business has 12 employees working hard Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 5pm.
“It’s the boys that do the work,” he said.
“If it wasn’t for them, it wouldn’t be getting done.
“We don’t do anything special, we just do our thing.”
