A BCFC spokesperson said that with the help of feedback, it aimed to improve how food relief was offered, so it could better meet local people’s needs.
“Even if you don’t use food relief, we’d like to hear from you,” the spokesperson said.
What does BCFC mean by food relief?
Food relief includes pantry items, community meals, fresh fruit and vegetables, breakfast clubs and vouchers for food.
The BCFC is made up of people who are a part of the food and health system of Benalla.
It was officially launched in June, with the goal of improving food relief in Benalla.
This project is led by Waminda Community House and the Benalla Homelessness Response Group.
People can obtain a hard copy of the survey from places including Waminda Community House, the Salvos, the Benalla Health Community Care building and the Benalla Homelessness Response Group.
The survey will run until September 3 and can be accessed via bit.ly/4lh9NhW/
