Nagambie Skate Park will host stop nine of the series on Saturday, November 28, with competitions kicking off at 11am.
The free event is open to all genders and abilities, with 12 and under, 16 and under, and open categories available for each discipline.
Strathbogie Shire Mayor Scott Jeffery encouraged local riders to get involved or come along to support the competitors.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for young people and riders of all experience levels to enjoy the skate park, meet others and show what they can do,” Cr Jeffery said.
“You don’t need to be an experienced competitor to participate. The event welcomes everyone, from those who are still building their confidence to seasoned riders.”
Competition schedule
- Skateboarding: from 11am
- Scooter: from 12.30pm
- BMX: from 2pm
Skateboards and safety equipment will be available, and there will be plenty of prizes to be won throughout the day.
Cr Jeffery said hosting a round of the series was a great opportunity for Nagambie and the wider community.
“Events like this give young people an active and inclusive way to spend time together while making the most of our local facilities,” he said.
“We encourage families and community members to come along, watch the competition and support our local riders.”
Standard scooters are permitted; however, e-scooters cannot be used in the competition.
The event will be alcohol, drug, smoke and vape free.
The Nagambie Skate Park Competition will be held at Nagambie Skate Park, 26 Filson St, Nagambie.
