For the month of August, Share the Dignity will once again be collecting period products at Woolworths stores nationwide and other select businesses.
New research from the Bloody Big Survey proves that period poverty as prevalent if not worse than it was in 2021 when Share the Dignity conducted its last survey.
With the rate of women and girls experiencing homeless and poverty increasing, Share the Dignity is urgently requesting period product donations for the biannual Dignity Drive to ensure those without a place to call home don’t also have to go without the most basic of essentials, period products.
To amplify the mission and drive meaningful change, Share the Dignity is also launching a powerful new initiative: Bro in the Know, a nationwide call for men to join the fight to end period poverty.
The Bro in the Know campaign is designed to engage male allies and empower them with tools and education to advocate for change and break down stigmas.
