Cooma Male Choir

Sing along: The Cooma Male Choir performed at Long Gully Uniting Church Bendigo in 2005.

The Cooma Male Choir originated from a quartet – Alf Poole, Reg Black, Charlie Clapp and Will Marke – which sang at the opening of the Cooma Methodist Church in 1926. This quartet formed the nucleus of the male voice choir that came into being in 1928. Since that time the choir has performed at church anniversaries and at various venues in more than 40 different towns with the exception of World War II.
