Four descendants of World War veterans proudly wore medals at the Stanhope Anzac Day service on Sunday.

Ten-year-old Xavier Tyrrell and his sister Ella, 12, from Bendigo, along with their smaller cousins Flo and Dottie Coote, from Echuca, were guests of their Stanhope grandparents Ian and Keryn Coote for the event.
Bob Coote, great-grandfather of Xavier and Ella, lived at Stanhope and served with the transport corps in New Guinea.
Norman Alan Grant served in World War I and died after serving with the 24th Lighthorse Regiment in 1918. He is the great-great-uncle of Keryn.
