The Kyabram Cricket Club ladies are organising the fundraiser which will run during Cricket Shepparton’s Kyabram versus Central Park-St Brendan’s clash at the Kyabram Recreation Reserve.
Both teams will be sporting pink caps in the game.
Admission to the ladies function is by a gold coin donation and drinks and food will be available.
Fundraising competitions will be held throughout the course of the day which starts from 12.30pm.
All are welcome to attend and support the worthy cause with all funds raised going to the McGrath Foundation.
●Kyabram’s Haisman Shield clash with Waaia last Saturday was abandoned due to the state of the Waaia oval after a drenching the previous two days.
Kyabram’s B grade clash was also cancelled but the club’s D grade side got a start - and a win - against Karramomus.
Veteran Matt McDonald was the star with an unbeaten 81 which included nine fours and three sixes.
He received most support from consistent opener Aidan Robinson with 41 and Daniel Hilton with 29 as Kyabram posted an impressive 6/230.
With McDonald completing a good day with 3/3 off five overs and Noah Ryan taking 3/13 off seven overs, Kyabram skittled Karramomus for 78 in 28 overs to keep itself in finals contention.
