Where are you from?

I am originally from Sri Lanka. I arrived in Australia in 2000 as an international student.

What do you do with yourself?

I manage the Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District.

How long have you been in Shepparton?

I moved from Melbourne to Shepparton in 2013.

What do you love the most about Shepparton?

Shepparton is unique. It has a vibrant, welcoming and diverse community. Beautiful people supported me and made me feel welcome. They helped me feel that I belonged.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I enjoy spending quality time with my family, exploring and spending time in nature.
