The Allan Street Auto Pro business husband and wife team have been in their current location since 2014, but the business has been family run since 1984.
On the eve of yet another bush market celebration the pair fondly looked back on previous events and encouraged people to come out and celebrate their town, considering the events of the past few years.
Bargain shoppers at the Friday, November 4 bush market will have all the specials from the current Sun Up-Windows Down catalogue on offer, which will be available until November 20.
The Auto Pro owners understand the passionate nature of vehicle ownership, inherited from a previous generation.
“This is our third location since Mum and Dad (Dot and Albert Walsh) started the business,” Greg said.
Auto Pro Kyabram will again be the site of a classic and vintage car display for the bush market event on Friday, although the current owners of the business are not car collectors.
Greg said there would be a variety of classic cars in front of the store, including Toranas, Monaros, Fords and four cars belonging to collector Ian Jensen.
Mr Jensen has a pair of Rolls Royce vehicles, which he expects to dwarf another interesting vehicle belonging to Deb Hargreaves, a 1972 Ford Escort.
“We also have a Chrysler and a pair of F-trucks coming in,” Greg said.
He said people with classic or vintage vehicles were welcome to be involved in the display, but they must be at the front of the store between 8am and 8.30am, and then there for the day.
“The four years before COVID, it (the display) has been a great success,” Greg said.
